Robert Buchanan is a Special Counsel
with Maurice Blackburn Commercial.
Robert specialises in commercial litigation, in which he has practiced for nearly thirty years. Robert’s clients have included multinational corporations and financial institutions as well as many small to medium enterprises.
Robert currently advises and acts for a range of clients, commercial and professional and individual, in the Victorian and Federal Court systems.
For eight years, he was secretary and corporate counsel to an Australian group manufacturing and selling into Australasia and Europe. Robert combines his long litigation experience with a strong grasp of commercial and legal issues facing Australian businesses at home and abroad.
Robert is admitted to practise in all Australian jurisdictions and holds degrees from the Australian National University and the University of Melbourne. He is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.
