Prior to commencing with Maurice Blackburn Commercial in September 2006, Georgia practised as a Barrister at both The Victorian Bar and The Sydney Bar. Georgia was involved in high level and complex criminal trials (predominantly murder trials) and extensive commercial litigation matters in the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal in both jurisdictions. Georgia possesses high level trial advocacy skills and has strong knowledge of court process in both the criminal and commercial contexts.
Georgia has extensive mediation experience and has conducted numerous commercial arbitration matters during her time at The Victorian Bar.
Georgia was admitted to practice in February 2002. She graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Laws. Prior to her admission, Georgia worked as Associate to the late Judge Kent of the County Court of Victoria. During this time, Georgia sat with His Honour in both the civil and criminal jurisdictions and developed strong insight and knowledge of court process and advocacy.
