Nicole Wood is a Senior Associate with Maurice Blackburn Commercial.
Nicole is a leader of the commercial insolvency practice and has experience in acting for both insolvency practitioners and directors. In particular, she has been involved in:
- retention of title and preference claims;
- insolvent trading claims;
- public examinations of company directors, employees, auditors and advisers;
- reconstruction and refinancing negotiations;
- disputes with creditors; and
- forensic investigations.
Prior to joining Goldman Partners (now Maurice Blackburn Commercial) in 2005, Nicole practised in insolvency both in Melbourne and at a large firm in London.
Nicole was admitted to practice in 1994 and holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne.
